Vita reference vanishes from Criterion job listing

Yesterday, internet sleuth Superannuation tweeted that Criterion was hiring for a Vita project it has in the works. The listing for a software engineer was posted on Edge, and soon after, all traces of Vita were culled from the job listing, and replaced "developing for new platforms." Super tweeted the game was "presumably a port of their new Need for Speed." Job listings posted earlier in the month pointed to a new a entry in the Need for Speed franchise, and back in April, South African retailer BT Games listed Need for Speed: Most Wanted 2 as being available for pre-order despite not being announced by EA. Criterion’s last Need for Speed effort was 2010's Hot Pursuit, and the first Most Wanted game was released in 2005 for PS2, Xbox, GameCube and Xbox 360.
