‘Virtual EGX’ campaign lets you play games from the EGX 2016 show floor at home
Amazon and EGX have teamed up to bring games from the show floor directly to your PC.
GameSessions has joined forces with EGX and Amazon to bring indie games from the show floor to players at home.
"We’re looking forward to welcoming 75,000 gamers at EGX this week but for those who can’t make it we’re delighted to offer a selection of the games on show for people to play free of charge," explained Rupert Loman, CEO of Gamer Network. "Thanks to our partnership with Amazon and GameSessions we’re able to put some brilliant indie games in front of even more gamers than ever before."
The Virtual EGX campaign is being hosted on Amazon's EGX hub and if you hop on over there, you'll find a selection of indie titles for the PC that you can download a free trial for, including:
- Mainlining
- Shu
- Earth’s Dawn
- The Bunker
- Hue
- Congamaster
- Hopiko
"One of the highlights of the EGX event is that it gives gamers the chance to discover some amazing indie games and play them, in some cases for the first time, at the show," said CEO of GameSessions, Ed French. "Using our technology we can replicate a little piece of this experience online and, by working with EGX and Amazon, give the wider gaming community a chance to try some of the latest indie titles."
The campaign will run alongside EGX from September 22 to September 25.
