VG247 smashes traffic record with 1.65m UU in June
VG247 served 1.65 million unique users, 5.43 million page views and 2.58 million videos last month. If we were to draw a graph, it would point upwards.
VG247.com broke its previous monthly traffic record in June by recording 1,651,820 unique users.
We served 5,433,267 page views and 2,579,412 YouTube video views in the same month.
The metrics are internal, taken from Google Analytics.
The new figures show significant growth over a previously announced record of 1.1 million unique users and 3 million page views in September 2012.
Said editor Patrick Garratt: “Seeing VG247 grow is always exciting, but such heavy traffic-lifts in such a short space of time are fantastic news.
“The strength of our core editorial team - Dave Cook, Stephany Nunneley and Brenna Hillier - combined with video editor Sam Clay and a fantastic spread of freelancers has created a major UK hardcore games site of which we’re extremely proud.”
VG247 launched in February 2008, and provides round-the-clock games news reporting from editors in the UK, America, Australia and France.
