Vendetta Online Kickstarter aims towards an iPad launch
Guild Software is looking to bring its cross-platform MMORPG to the iPad.
In a bid to keep Vendetta Online feeling fresh, the developer is looking to expand its multi-platform universe to Apple's tablet. Kickstarter is once again the route of progress.
At the time of writing, the studio has accumulated $1,011 of its $100,000 total. Plenty of time remains on the clock, with 37 donation days left. Players can pay anything between $1-$10,000 for a variety of rewards, including access to premium versions of the game, early DLC, and the ability to rename an entire star system in the project.
It's worth noting the $10,000 option actually suggests the team are looking for a $50,000 drop, but are hampered by the website's limitations.
If crowdsourcing goes well, Guild suggests the future could be extremely bright:
"All players and platforms share the same universe within Vendetta Online, so iOS users will rub elbows with those on Windows, Mac, Linux, Android and WinRT. Beyond iPad support, the Kickstarter could also help fund the next major expansion of the title's gameplay, including enhanced player-owned capital ships and territorial conquest, and is scheduled for completion near the end of 2013."
