Vanquish gets in-game shots, first proper details
Sega's released the first batch of in-game shots of Vanquish, the new third-person shooter from Bayonetta developer Platinum Games and Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami.
A fact sheet was also released for the game, filing in a little more information on its story then just a US vs Russia war.
After fighting for the last few remaining energy resources between each other, the US has built a space station to get energy from the sun.
Russia, however, captures said space station, hijacks it and destroys San Francisco with a solar blast, trying to force the US into "a total and unconditional surrender".
Now the US is p**sed, and arms its special forces to take back the station before New York is next attacked.
The character you play in the game is known as Sam, who's the guy kitted out in the futuristic suit from the debut trailer.
Sega's also released the first batch of in-game screenshots as well. Get them over at AGB.
Mikami confirmed yesterday the game would release this winter in Japan for PS3 and 360.
