Valorant releases on June 2, closed beta ends next week

Riot Games today announced Valorant will be released two weeks from now across the majority of regions worldwide.

Valorant, which is currently in closed beta, will release on June 2, Riot announced today.

The closed beta will come to an end on May 28, and at that time, all player accounts will be reset and new content will be patched in.

Players can expect new game content, a new game mode, a new agent, and a new map at launch.

To meet demand, additional new game servers will be added as part of the team's short-term roadmap in order to lower latency. The server locations will include Atlanta, Dallas, London, Madrid, and Warsaw.

The closed beta for the free-to-play shooter went live on April 7, and quicky broke Twitch’s viewing records with 1.7 million concurrent viewers
