We had some issues, notably with the game audio being too loud and my microphone being too soft, but it was fun streaming Shovel Knight for you folks. We were even joined in the chat channel by Yacht Club Games' pixel artist Nick Wozniak!
We'll fix my audio issues in time for the next stream. In the meantime you can check out one of the highlights from the stream on Youtube! If you want to see more streaming, follow us on Twitch, and if you want to catch us after the fact, subscribe to USgamer on Youtube!
Original text: Last week, many of you watched as Kat tried her hand at taking the USA all the way through the World Cup in FIFA. Today at 5PM EDT/2PM PDT, I'm going to give you a look at the beginning of Shovel Knight, Yacht Club Games' love letter to the NES classics of the late 80's and early 90's. I've already reviewed it, but now you get a chance to see my skills in action. You'll join me on my second run-through of the game, this time using a DualShock 4 instead of the wired Xbox 360 controller I normally use.
Will there be failure? Most assuredly. Hell, I'm not even sure this whole streaming thing is going to work. Either way, we're going to do this together. Come join me on my quest. We'll laugh, we'll cry, and maybe, just maybe... we'll learn a little bit about love.
