Video games don't often jump back to World War I—mainly because Hitler makes for a much more compelling villain—but that's exactly where EA DICE is taking Battlefield 1 when it launches this October.
But you won't have to wait until the fall to see Battlefield 1 in action; right now, it's currently in the middle of a closed alpha, and your friendly editors at USgamer have been fortunate enough to get an invite.
