Axe of the Blood God is our weekly RPG podcast hosted by Kat Bailey. You can find the previous episodes here.
In this week's episode of Axe of the Blood God (download link here), I finally get Kotaku's Jason Schreier on the podcast to talk first about Trails of Cold Steel and Trails in the Sky, then I Am Setuna. Nadia is with us too!
I've been poking Jason for a while about coming on the show; but as you might expect, we're all extremely busy, and so it's not always easy to put aside an hour or so of your day for someone else's show. But we've been meaning to do this for a while; and Jason, bless him, reached out to me right before I left for Scotland and asked if he could join me for an episode in July. Naturally, I said yes.
If you're not familiar with Jason's work, he's a diehard JRPG fan in general and a booster of Trails in the Sky and Trails of Cold Steel in particular. He talks about both games on this episode, as well as I Am Setsuna, which he reviewed last week. Have a listen and make sure to check out his review.
Next week: We're still in the slow summer period, so this is a good opportunity for a broader RPG discussion. Stay tuned!
