USgamer's RPG Podcast Recaps the Year in RPGs for 2016

AXE OF THE BLOOD GOD: Nadia and Kat dig into a strong year for RPGs.

Axe of the Blood God is our weekly RPG podcast hosted by Kat Bailey. You can find the previous episodes here.

In this week's episode of Axe of the Blood God (download link here), Kat and Nadia recap what has been a very strong year in RPGs... if you like Japanese games.

In discussing the year in RPGs, we cover as much as possible, from Witcher 3: Blood and Wine to Fire Emblem Fates to Final Fantasy XV. We also talk about this year's trends, including the relative dearth of top-shelf western RPGs, as well as the impact RPGs have had on the 3DS this year (spoiler alert: it's a positive one), all of which leads up to the Blood God's Chosen RPG of 2016. We read your emails, too!

We will be on vacation next week, but we will back in the new year with a previous of what's to come in 2017. Thanks for listening through 2016, and have a happy holiday!
