USgamer At the Nintendo Switch Event in New York, Part 2
We share the photos from Jeremy and Nadia's trip to New York to handle the Nintendo Switch for the first time.

The Nintendo Switch is a malleable system. While in Portable mode, you can pop out the kickstand and detach the Joy-Cons for some single-player or two-player action!
To show off the above configuration, the Nintendo Switch event had a booth that was set up like an airplane. To be fair, Nintendo's airplane is much nicer than the real thing, with far more seat space and legroom. Living that first-class life.
Attendees could also join Nintendo employees in a multiplayer match in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. The demo featured the new and improved Battle Mode coming to the Switch port of the Wii U classic.
If you weren't a fan of portable play, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was also available for a looking Home Console mode. While the portable mode of the game runs at 720p and 60 FPS, the console mode kicks up to 1080p, while still retaining that super-smooth 60fps.
Konami reminds us that it still develops games sometimes. Super Bomberman R for Nintendo Switch represents the return of the classic Hudson Soft series to the gaming stage. You've been gone Bomberman and you've been missed.
For home console play, you may want to pick up the Pro Controller. Instead of using the Joy-Cons, the Pro Controller provides most of the same functionality in a more traditional shell. Sadly, the Pro Controller will set you back $70.
Nadia and another attendee take on Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers, with Pro Controllers in hand.
