US PS Store Update, September 17 - GTA 5, Ico for PS Plus, NFS: Rivals pre-order

This week's North American PlayStation Store update tips quality over quantity, with a smaller number of releases but some pretty great content.

The first cab off the rank (this is a car joke) is Need for Speed: Rivals, which is now available for pre-order. In less nebulous full PS3 game purchases, you can pick up Grand Theft Auto 5, and Hot Wheels: World's Best Driver.

All of these things are about cars, which is odd. The sole Vita release isn't - it's Real Boxing - and the PS2 Classic is Capcom Fighting Evolution. There's also one bundle - Urban Trial Freestyle for PS3 and Vita.

PlayStation Plus subscribers score Ico, an HD remaster of the PS2 Classic from the Shadow of the Colossus and The Last Guardian team, and Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, a PSP title compatible with Vita, as well as various discounts.

On the DLC side of things, check out new add-ons for Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate, Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate Core Fighters, LittleBigPlanet Vita, LittleBigPlanet 2, LittleBigPlanet Karting, Metro: Last Light, One Piece: Pirate Warriors, Pinball Arcade, PinballStik, Saints Row 4 and Soul Sacrifice.
