US PS Store Update, October 30 - NFS: Most Wanted, Assassin's Creed 3, Okami

Want to buy some games this week? The US PlayStation Store update has you covered there, assuming you don't spend all your money on the massive pile of DLC also dropping today.

It's a good week for full games, with Twisted Metal, Toy Story Mania, Sports Champions 2, Need for Speed: Most Wanted and Assassin's Creed 3 all now available for digital purchase. Assassin's Creed 3 is also available in a Gold Edition, which includes a DLC Season Pass, and you can drop a pre-order for LittleBigPlanet Karting, too.

On the PSN game side, Okami HD is out at last. The Vita also gets a look in with Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation, Ragnarok Odyssey, Smart As… (demo available), LEGO Lord of the Rings and Need for Speed: Most Wanted.

Much to everyone's surprise, there's a couple of PSP games, too. I An An Air Traffic Controller Airport Hero Haneda is a thing I will probably buy based on the name alone, but there's also NBA 2K13, which along with SOCOM Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 2 and 3 is now available directly from the Vita store, too.

Finally, Nobunaga's Ambition: Rise to Power has joined the PS2 Classics range, so BRB conquering fuedal Japan again.

This week's PlayStation Plus is a bit slim; there's a trial for Need for Speed: Most Wanted, which is nice, and then a couple of discounts.

Speaking of price cuts, there's a decent Halloween sale on (Knights in the Nightmare: put it in your life) and a series of permanent price adjustments, especially on THQ games.

There's even a few new soundtracks - Resistance: Retribution and InFamous.

But now: DLC. There is so much DLC. Street Fighter x Tekken, LittleBigPlanet, New Little King's Story, Pinball Arcade and Pure Chess all have new Vita content in the offing.

For the PlayStation 3, stop by the Assassin's Creed 3, Crazy Strike Bowling, Darksiders 2, Dead or Alive 5, LittleBigPlanet, Max Payne 3, Mugen Souls, Naughty Bear: Panic in Paradise, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Pinball Arcade, Pure Chess, Resident Evil 6, Sleeping Dogs and Street Fighter x Tekken sections. Rock Band and Rocksmith make offerings, too.
