US PS Store Update, August 23 - Resistance 3, PSN PLAY, Parasite Eve II

The big news in this week's US PS Store update is the first title of Sony's PSN PLAY scheme - Street Fighter 3: Third Strike Online Edition - but come through for plenty of other goodies including some beta for a little shooter, maybe you've heard of it.

PSN PLAY allows you to pre-order digital games, and receive discounts and bonus content. You have to get in before September 19, mind.

Parasite Eve 2 is sure to delight PSOne Classic fans, although if you've only played the original RPG you're in for a survival horror surprise.

It's a good time to pick up DLC with a number of free content packs for Motorstorm Apocalypse as well as price cuts on Disgaea 3's many, many add-ons - you'll get them all with the Vita re-release should it arrive locally so bear that in mind.

A couple of items packs have turned up for Dragon Age 2, while Rock band plays host to Incubus.

On the demo side, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine is urning heads today, while Hamilton’s Great Adventure looks worth a try - maybe this quirky indie can put a smile on your grim, jaded face.

There's also a startling number of Street Fighter avatars down there.
