US PS Store Update, April 30 - PS All-Stars sale, Soul Sacrifice, Blood Dragon, more

Oh my gosh is this week's North American PlayStation Store update a good one. Lock up your wallets tight, friends, because temptation lies within.

It really is a bumper crop this week. In the PS3 full games section, we have Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, which is pretty good, but also Deadly Premonition: The Director's Cut, which I'm pretty excited about; for its PlayStation 3 debut, the cult classic has new story, overhauled controls and a graphics upgrade.

Now to PSN games, where the fabulous Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon headlines - but don't forget TellTale Games' Poker Night 2. There's also something called Zombie Tycoon 2: Brainhov's Revenge, a PS3 and Vita title, but I'm moving immediately onto the real star of this week:

Soul Sacrifice is finally available on Vita. I hear only good things about it.

You know what else I only hear good things about: PS2 classic Katamari Damacy. Probably because I'm saying them all myself. R O Y A L R A I N B O W!

Finally, there's even a new PSP game - T.A.C. Heroes.

For PlayStation Plus Subscribers, there's a free copy of Zombie Tycoon 2: Brainhov's Revenge and a pile of discounts on PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale and related content - more on that below.

Demo-wise, check out Urban Trial Freestyle, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, and Poker Night 2, or Pure Chess on Vita.

You know that PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale sale mentioned in the PS Plus section? Well, its flippin' ginormous and extends to franchises starring characters from the fighter's roster. Save big on Metal Gear, BioShock, LittleBigPlanet, Sly Cooper, God of War, Devil May Cry, InFamous, Twisted Metal, and Ratchet & Clank.

On the DLC side, there's new content for Army of Two, Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk, Capcom Arcade Cabinet, Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires, Guardians of Middle-Earth, Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory, LittleBigPlanet, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3, Pinball Arcade, Rocksmith and Soul Sacrifice.
