US PlayStation Store update, January 11: LittleBigPlanet discounts, DLC-splosion

The US PlayStation Store has thrown off its holiday fugue and resumed business as normal with a sizeable weekly update. While it may be short on actual games, if you've been holding out for cheap DLC this may make your day.

The update kicks things off with a stack of price changes to already available DLC. A number of Dead Rising 2 and Rock Band packs are on sale, and a whopping list of LittleBigPlanet PSP add-ons have seen a permanent price reduction. Oh, and Uno's cheaper, too. Right.

Meanwhile, new DLC has gone a little bit crazy, with add-ons for EyePet; Fist of the North Star; ModNation Racers; The Sims 3 (twice); Super Street Fighter IV; and Rock Band.

Only one demo and new downloadable title make their way to the PS3 store front - Faery: Legends of Avalon - while the PSP is lucky enough to score Prinny 2: Dawn of Operation Panties, Dood!

Episode 32 of Qore goes up, and after that, the rest of the update can largely be described as guff, unless you were really hanging out for a new wallpaper, Avatar or Home item. See the full list and further details on the US PS Blog.
