Quick shots: Yves Guillemot checking out Vita
A shot Pat took of Ubisoft boss Yves Guillemot at the Sony press conference after party at gamescom. Very nice.
If you are wondering why this is just now going up, it's because gamescom was in full swing today, and my shift, is just now ending. Granted, I should have stopped four hours ago, but I laugh at such things. I would keep going if Brenna would let me, but she pulled her bullwhip card and is threatening me with it as we speak. So, unfortunately, I am off to bed. I think.
Anyway, enough mumbling from a demented southern belle. Let's get you caught up on my shift. There were loads today, I tell ya'll.

In case you forgot with all the gamescom stuff going on, this launched today.
We love us some Gears, and we really want Gears 3 in our house. Soon.
Nice video showing how the Hockenheim track was created for the game.
Woot! This looks flipping awesome. I totally still need to play the first two. Don't hate on me, please.
After watching this video, I have decided I want to marry BF3 and have its babies.
This is on our must have list for the year, if we get no other game besides this, SWTOR, Gears 3, and, well, never mind.
Screens and the trailer shown for the game at Sony's press event.
Screenshots for: Eyepet & Friends, Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, Twisted Metal, WipEout 2048, Ruin, Move Fitness, TEKKEN Hybrid, Journey, and Starhawk.
Vampires. Hey, at least it's not zombies, and they don't f**king sparkle in the sunlight.
The Resistance game for Vita finally got a subtitle.
Screenshots for: Medieval Moves: Deadmund’s Quest; Start The Party: Save The World; LittleBigPlanet 2; LBP Vita; Smart As; DanceStar Party; and Little Deviants.
Looking over the previous price of devkits for Sony, 1900 Euro for the Vita kit doesn't sound so expensive to us anymore.
This should be good news for the PC crowd.
Does anyone else besides me remember when Val Kilmer was hot? Willow, anyone?
99 cent is a steal, but this list of movies is a bit meh if we are being honest.
Now all you have to do is decide if the movie is worth buying for the demo or not - regardless of whether Karl Urban is in it or not.
Another game on our list for next year.

This looks rather nice, and a bit stressful at the same time.
Ken Rolston made our day when he stepped on the EA press conference stage at gamescom and showed this trailer. He is totally my hero.
Shows cars racing through the Rockies in Colorado. Reminds me of a trip I took there once. That story is for another time, though.
Shame on you Amazon for stealing Sony's thunder on this.

This looks like a really neat title for Vita and is just another selling point for me.
More blood and ninja stuff.
