Unreal Engine 4.1 Twitch live stream to discuss tools, blender support, more

Epic Games is set to kick off an Unreal Engine 4 live stream on Twitch at 2pm EDT/7pm BST. The stream will feature lead engine programmer Matt Kuhlenschmidt, senior engine programmer Nick Atamas, and tools programmer Nick Darnell.

The team will be discussing "what makes a great tool, how Epic works with the community on contributions, what Epic is working on right now."

Epic is taking questions here, and you have about 45 minutes left to toss your tool queries in for today's stream. You can also ask questions regrading blueprints for the stream taking place May 8.

Epic announced last week that the release of Unreal Engine 4 update 4.1 included not only SteamOS and Linux support and a refined iOS and Android workflow, but support for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as well.

The update also includes 100 improvements based on community feedback, Epic’s Elemental demo free to subscribers and “Shooter Game,” a sample project undergoing certification on PS4 and XBO.
