Uncharted 4 free co-op Survival mode out today, includes new maps, weapons, and more
The long awaited co-op mode for Uncharted 4 will be out in the wild later today, alongside a hefty update.
Uncharted 4 developer Naughty Dog has been teasing us for a while now with short trailers showing the game's co-op Survival mode. In a livestream ran last night, the studio spilled all the beans on the upcoming expansion.
Survival, as previously confirmed, is free to all owners of the game. The mode will be included in a big patch (over 3GB), due for release later today (via Shacknews). This update will also add new weapons, character skins, two maps and a new King of the Hill mode.
As for Survival, you can play it solo or with up to three other friends. There are 50 waves in total, divided across ten maps. You get five waves in each stage, and you'll be able to save and return to the fight at a later time.
The mode supports matchmaking, and it'll also grant you some new Trophies for completing certain tasks.
More updates are planned for the game in 2017, including a hardcore version of Survival.
