Capcom Pro Tour returns to EGX this year with £2,000 prize pot up for grabs

The Capcom Pro Tour will return to EGX this September with the EGX Fight Zone Pro Tour Ranking Event.

Players worldwide will be battling it out in a year-long Ultra Street Fighter 4 tournament circuit to win one of 32 qualification spots for the year-end Capcom Cup.

Fifteen contestants will qualify from the ranking point leaderboards, with EGX 2015 on of the crucial events in the calendar.

The EGX Fight Zone ranking event will be operated by Unequalled Media and will feature 72 players on the main EGX stage on September 27.

The top 16 winners will receive Capcom Pro Tour ranking points and a £2,000 prize pot is available for the first time to the top three

All 72 finalists are selected during the EGX Qualification Series, taking place in numerous offline and online qualifiers between now and September 27.

Unequalled Media hasteamed up with tournament organizers in London, Essex, Leicester, Southampton, Manchester, Leeds, Scotland, Brighton and Birmingham for players in the UK who want a shot.
