Ukie has published a quick guide regarding the UK games tax breaks [PDF]. The trade body also said it would be running a series of event across the UK for games business, where the companies will be briefed on the new laws and how the incentive will apply to them the tax breaks work. It was announced earlier today a £188 million tax incentive for the UK video game industry was approved by the EU commission. The extra investment will be applied starting today and through 2019.
