UK retail mag In Stock has closed down, GI reports.

The magazine had been running for four years.

Tough financial conditions generally are thought to be to blame for the closure, although no statement's been issued by the team as yet.

Update: MCV publisher Intent's taken on Group publisher David Lilley and events director Anju Chadda "to work on new projects." Other staff from Skep, In Stock's publisher, have also been offered jobs at the firm. More here.

After garnering experience on countless gaming magazines, he joined Eurogamer and later split from that brand to create VG247, putting the site on the map with fast, 24-hour a day coverage, and assembling the site's earliest editorial teams. He retired from VG247, and the games industry, in 2017.
