UK game charts: Titanfall drops in at first, biggest launch of 2014, Xbox One sales up 96%
Titanfall and Dark Souls 2 have entered the UK charts at first and second respectively, marking a strong release for both new titles.
It follows our Titanfall review round-up and Dark Souls 2 review list. Both games have scored very well indeed.
Chart-keeper UKIE reveals that Titanfall is the UK's biggest game launch of the year so far, and has more than doubled the sales of EA's other big-hitter FIFA 14. It has helped Xbox One hardware sales jump 96%, thanks in part to Microsoft's new Xbox One Titanfall bundle, which accounts for 70% of the console's sales.
The firm added that Dark Souls 2 launch sales are up 20% on its predecessor.
