Ubisoft wins big at the MCV awards
Ubisoft took home five prizes from last night's MCV awards, while fellow behemoth publishers EA and Activision won two apiece and GAME walked away with the gong for best specialist retailer. More winners through the break.
Ubisoft was the big winner at the eleventh annual MCV awards last night.
The publisher won prizes for its digital distribution team, export sales and marketing teams. It also picked up two Assassin's Creed 3-specific awards for best digital campaign and best game campaign.
2K won the award for best PR team, while EA won both the best UK sales team award and retained its Game Publisher of the Year prize, which it also won last year. Activision won for its trade marketing team and Skylanders Giants was awarded the best Third Party Games Hardware award.
Bethesda and Arkane Studios added to their list of awards for Dishonored, picking up the New Game Brand prize.
CentreSoft won the highest honour, picking up the Gran Prix award "recognising 30 years of business supporting retailers and key publishing partners."
