Two new heroes are coming to Dota 2 - check out their introduction videos
Dota 2 is expanding out further with two new heroes.
The next major update, the Outlanders update, will include two new heroes for Dota 2 players to enjoy. This update doesn't have a date yet, but we'd expect it this year. They were announced during The International 2019, along with pre-rendered trailers.
First up, we've got Snapfire, an older lady with a giant hairdo who rides atop a fire-breathing lizard and is able to use her baking abilities mid-match to make cookies and buff her allies. She's a bit outside what Dota fans are used to, which is nice. She also rocks a triple-barreled shotgun. She looks like a lot of fun.
We're also getting Void Spirit, the fourth 'spirit brother', alongside Ember Spirit, Earth Spirit and Storm Spirit. His trailer shows off less of how he'll play, but this is perhaps more exciting for people invested in the Dota lore. He's also coming to Dota Underlords.
It looks like he'll be able to teleport and use a huge double-edged spear, but we don't know a whole lot more than that. Two new characters were announced during last year's International too, but unfortunately we don't get the whole 'and one of them is available right now' thing this time.
