Twisted Pixel to offer regular, free DLC for Ms. 'Splosion Man

Twisted Pixel  plans to release free, regular content updates for Ms. 'Splosion Man on XBL, thanks to the Xbox 360's Title Managed Storage feature.

What is essentially a loophole, the TMS system allows developers to make small changes to the storage space titles are taking up on the Xbox Live servers. This allows developers to release content to players, free of charge despite MS not being too keen on the matter.

With Ms. 'Splosion Man, players will be getting week-long challenges with special rules and new content added to levels already in the game. Leaderboards will be added to each challenge, and prizes  will be divvied out for those who top the boards.

"From time to time, we will be awarding real prizes and other fun stuff to the top finishers, and sometimes random players, from the Challenge's leaderboards," explained Twisted's Jay Stuckwisch. "We are finding it harder and harder to 'one up' ourselves with new ways of giving away free stuff to people who buy our games, but TMS has opened an exciting new door for us."

Ms. 'Splosion Man was released on XBL this week as part of the Summer of Arcade annual event.
