This week on Twitch, we're going to be building large spaceships and blowing them up in Homeworld Remastered Collection, the updated release of Relic's classic space strategy game and its sequel. It'll be like Battlestar Galactica, but with more explosions and fewer attempts to shoehorn in religious iconography.

First released in 1999, Homeworld made its mark with its then-revolutionary use of 3D space and its distinctive space battles. Relic released a sequel a few years later, after which there was a long absence marked by the uncertain status of the IP.
In my stream, I'll be playing through some of the first Homeworld's campaign on max settings, analyzing its approach to strategy, and comparing it to Sins of a Solar Empire. And if you're very lucky, you might get to hear me rant about Battlestar Galactica.
