Touch Type Tale is an RTS you play by typing
Touch Type Tale is the latest entry into the niche genre of typing games.
Unlike most typing games, which are typically hectic action affairs, Touch Type Tale is a more relaxed real-time strategy. Everything you do in the game has to be dictated not by clicking, but by typing.
To make things more sensible, though, Touch Type Tale offers a simplified approach to RTS, doing away with the micro - and sometimes macro - management aspect associated with the genre. There's a traditional single-player campaign, as well as online multiplayer.
The game is developed by German indie team Pumpernickel, and it's coming to PC sometime this year. If you think the idea sounds interesting, the developer is hosting a limited beta test on March 14. Sign up and get involved through the official Discord server.
