Total War: Warhammer: mod support and Steam Workshop integration available day one
Total War: Warhammer developer Creative Assembly has announced that mod support for the upcoming strategy title will be available on launch.
The studio revealed that the Assembly Kit - a mod making suite - will be released alongside the game, and will be integrated into Steam Workshop. This will all be managed through the Total War Mod Manager.
In addition, you can expect to see mods available on day one. Creative Assembly will send the game early to prominent community modders to help get mods ready for release. Magnar, one such modder, is working on a Legendary Lord Start Position Mod, adding the ability to customise starting position for Legendary Lords.
Dresden, another community modder, is creating a Regional Occupation Mod that allows you to change settlement rules, enabling any race to settle in any region.
Total War: Warhammer is out May 24 on PC.
