Total War Rome 2: free Pontus DLC faction revealed, detailed

Total War: Rome 2 developer The Creative Assembly has announced a new, free DLC faction for its sprawling strategy epic. Say hello to the Pontus.
The Pontus will be made available via Steam on launch day, and are the game's 9th faction. The content will be free to everyone, no exceptions.
They dwell in the mountains around the Black Sea and they're a dab hand at combat, with fast scythed chariots capable of tearing through troops with ease. The faction has its sights set on blazing a trail south, through the Arabian Lands, or venturing west to tussle with Asia and Greece.
We've also received a new episode the studio's Rally Point dev diaries, which focuses on the Pontus.
