Titanfall 2 has gone gold

Titanfall 2 goes gold.
Titanfall 2 developer Respawn has announced that development work has wrapped up, and the game has gone gold. This usually means the publisher will start the process of replicating discs, but doesn't necessarily means this will be the version playable on day one.
No details of a day one patch have been revealed as of yet, but one can't be ruled out given the nature of game development these days.
Respawn recently showed off PC footage of the game for the first, after many were worried about the state of the PC port. The developer also revealed he PC minimum and recommended specs, as well as long list of in-game options.
Titanfall 2 will release simultaneously on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on October 28.
