Three of last month's top ten bestselling games were about Lego

Titanfall's still selling gangbusters and the heavy-hitting triple-A titles are grimly hanging onto the charts, but Lego was the star of April's NPD report.

You can check the full top ten software chart below, but the key takeaway is that Lego has a very big month. It came in fifth, sixth and seventh place at US retail. I've never seen a single brand dominate the charts like that.

Elsewhere, Titanfall held on to the number one spot for its second consecutive month, given a serious boost by its release on Xbox 360. New release The Amazing Spider-Man 2 came in at eighth, but apart from that the charts were pretty grim - just the big old favourites of Call of Duty, NBA 2K, Minecraft, Grand Theft Auto and Assassin's Creed.

We'll likely see a bit more movement next month with Wolfenstein and watch Dogs to liven things up.
