THQ to show Warhammer 40K at E3
During THQ's Q310 financial call to investors yesterday evening, CEO Brian Farrell revealed that the long in the making Warhammer 40K MMO will be shown for the first time at E3 in June.
Currently in development with Vigil at THQ's Austin Studio, some early concept art was released back in December, and that's just about all that's been seen or heard of it.
That's all about to change though, and THQ sees the MMO as a great source of financial gain.
"The highest ranking revenue opportunity for us clearly is the Warhammer 40k MMO," Farrell told investors during the call.
"I encourage you to come by and see what we are seeing at E3 with that when we fully unveil it, but we think we are going to have a very competitive MMO and as you know, one of the big wins there is when you are successful with those properties, you have a long life on both revenues and cash flow, that's not just one year or two years it can go, five, six, seven years.
"So that's probably the biggest opportunity".
Last night, Farrell also revealed Saint's Row 3, Darksiders 2, and Warhammer: Space Marine for FY12 with a new Red Faction coming out in FY11.
