THQ: Saints Row movie to be announced next month

THQ CEO Brian Farrell has told Gama that the movie tie-in for Saints Row will be formally announced next month.

The movie is set to release alongside Saints Row 3, which is set to launch before March 2012.

That release window for the movie, however, now appears to be in limbo.

"I’m not going to comment on their timing,” he says. “I can’t speak for the people in Hollywood. [But] this builds our brand at no cost to us."

Saints Row 3 will get its first look at the Spike Video Game Awards next month.
