THQ formally announces Darksiders II for Wii U

THQ has sent over a press release for Darksiders II, which it announced for Wii U tonight during Nintendo's press conference.
It will take advantage of the new hardware with implemented functionality for the controller.
Darksiders II follows the exploits of Death one of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse, whose story runs parallel to the events in the original Darksiders game.
The Wii U version of the game, along with the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 will be released in calender year 2012.
