The Witcher 3: The Soldier Statuette walkthrough

In The Witcher 3, there are plenty of brief but interesting secondary quests to take part in. One that see Geralt acquiring a mysterious artefact is The Soldier Statuette, which Geralt must find and return to Triss to figure out it's true purpose.

You can complete this quest along The Nobleman Statuette too, which plays out similarly. That said, you'll want to make sure to pick up and complete both quests before meeting with Ciri during the Final Preparations main quest. After this, you'll be locked out of completing it until you venture into New Game Plus.

The Witcher 3: The Soldier Statuette walkthrough

This quest is very similar to The Nobleman Statuette in The Witcher 3. Both need to be attempted before Triss Merigold leaves Novigrad as a result of her quest Now or Never, if you do not successfully romance her.

The mission is triggered when the Jade Figurine quest item is obtained during A Dangerous Game, from the secret room on the top floor of Caesar's house.

Bring the statuette to Triss in her lodgings or at the Rosemary and Thyme. She escorts you to The Bits and casts a spell, revealing a very confused Nilfgaardian soldier. Send him on his way to complete the quest.
