The Witcher 3 texture mod gets big update to improve many of the game's small graphical details
The mod that reworks many of the textures and models in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, has received a new update which expands the improvements to other parts of the game.
The mod now includes an overhaul to stonewall textures, roofs, poor wood, and all water textures. To show off the impressive work, mod creator Halk Hogan released a video detailing exactly what changed.
It does this through comparison screenshots, over 180 of them, in fact. They're all compared the vanilla game to version 4.6, the most recent release.
You can download the mod from here. The installation steps are relatively simple, too. The mod's creator claims there's a minimal hit on performance with the mod on.
It's worth noting that you're going to need to prioritise this mod over others if you don't want any glitches. As an extra, you can get the Novigrad walls to look the way they looked in the first E3 trailer.
The upgrade is very clear in the video and comparison screenshots on Nexus Mods. Definitely check it out if you're unsatisfied with the game's original textures.
