The Witcher 2 Collector's Edition outed by GameStop
CD Projekt promised us more information on The Witcher 2 this week when it announced the game's release date earlier today, particularly information regarding the collector's edition.
Well, thanks to a GameStop listing, we know all about the CE, and its hefty price tag.
Apparently, it will run you around $129.99 - however the date next to the price is not the same date handed out this morning, so keep this as rumor for the time being. Unless it comes with a Geralt blow-up doll we're not paying that.
Okay, that was a joke, but it does include all sorts of goodies for your buck:
- The Vernon Roche Commando Jacket, which is: Available only in Collector's Edition; Unique item, obtained through one of the early-on quests; Very valuable object, that when equipped noticeably boosts player's sword-fighting abilities; Customization-wise, one of the best jackets the player will be able to find throughout the game (especially for sword-related character build).
- Making-of DVD
- Official Soundtrack
- World Map
- Art Book
- Geralt Sculpture
- Temerian Coin
- Dice Set
- 3 Stickers
- Playing Cards and Rulebook
- Cursed Coin and Pamphlet
- Two Papercraft Figures + Bonus
- Game disc
So, see, there's is a lot of stuff in there for the price. Still, wait on official word from CD Projekt RED on Thursday.
The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings will land on PC starting May 17.
Thanks, BigDownload.
