The Walking Dead in production at Telltale

Rumours of a Telltale-developed adaptation of The Walking Dead have been confirmed.
A report on All Things Digital (via D'toid) outed the project, one of four expected to see official unveiling at a conference later today.
Telltale's Steve Allison commented that the company's goal is to hit one million downloads with a single title, and that The Walking Dead has the potential to become a $20-30 million franchise.
A subsequent interview between creator Robert Kirkman and IGN didn't throw up any additional info other than it would be episodic, however, Telltale confirmed it would be released on PC, Mac, console, handheld, mobile, and social media sites by the end of 2011.
