PODCAST | With Nadia out for the week, Kat joins Caty and Mike to talk Red Dead Redemption 2, Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite's failure, and more.

The USgamer Podcast is our weekly flagship podcast that is updated every Wednesday. You can find the previous episodes here.

The failure of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite is confirmed, Red Dead Redemption 2 might be getting a Battle Royale mode, and Kat and Caty really hate audio logs. It's all in the latest episode of USgamer's flagship podcast (download link here!)!

A good chunk of our discussion this week focuses on this piece by Kat, which highlights how Shadow of the Colossus, Breath of the Wild, and Dark Souls effectively use minimalist storytelling to bond players to their characters. It's an interesting contrast to mainstream triple-A design, which emphasizes tutorilization and always giving as much information to the player as possible. We discuss all of that, as well as our hatred for audio logs. Seriously, they're bad!

Also in this episode: Kat is really into the idea of RDR 2 Battle Royale, Caty is amused by Kazuma Kiryu struggling to delete an app, and much more!
