The Secret World's Dragon Week - learn the secret of the milkshake
In its continuing unveiling of the Dragon, one of The Secret World's three factions, Funcom has revealed a number of secrets - including, uh, Milkshake Girl's recipe.
"When a player gets a mission from the Dragon, it's not always clear what's required of them, or what the end result of those actions will be, but players will eventually learn to trust that the Dragon knows where to place that tiny pebble in order for it to trigger an avalanche," director Ragnar Tørnquist told IGN of the chaos-centric faction.
Tørnquist said the Dragon aren't as bitter in their rivalries as the Illuminati and the Templars, but that doesn't mean they don't help maintain the balance of power.
"Both the Templars and the Illuminati know that the Dragon is an enemy to be reckoned with, and while they do underestimate the true power of chaos, they are also aware that the Dragon is as formidable an opponent as they are - both on the battlefields of the secret war, and in the day to day manipulation of the political and financial worlds," he explained.
The full interview contains some further details on the Dragon's philosophies and its hub in Seoul - where players are recruited to the cause - as well as a discussion of the famous milkshake.
One of The Secret World's earliest trailers showed a long-haired woman returning home, making a milkshake, and then facing down a demon attack; the latest trailer, embedded below, ends with the recipe.
The katana-wielding "Milkshake Girl" has become one of the three main faces of the game alongside her Illuminati and Templar opposite numbers.
No release date has been set for The Secret World or its beta.
Thanks, Ripten.
