The Secret World hosting Golden Weekend

Double AP, free subscriptions and other goodies are headed to The Secret World players this weekend.

Starting at 3:00PM CEST on Friday, players will earn double AP - the points used to unlock new abilities from The Secret World's huge, level-less skillset. The bonus applies to all AP earnt - so from combat and quests - and stacks with purchased AP boost items.

If you recruit a new player during the golden weekend who buys the client within a month, you'll get a free month of membership - or, if you have a lifetime subscription, $15 worth of Funcom points.

On top of that, there's a kind of sale n Funcom points, which are used for timed bonuses as well as cosmetic items; you'll get 30% extra with every purchase.

Finally, buying the game during the event will earn you $15 worth of Funcom Points.

The Secret World is a free-to-play MMO which I really like.
