The Secret World goes globetrotting in new dev diary

The latest developer diary for The Secret World is a whirlwind tour of hubs, dungeons, and fields all over the world. Check out some sweet in-game footage through the break.

"When we started working on The Secret World, we wanted to capture the spirit of the globe-trotting adventure," project lead Ragnar Tornquist said in the video, which was posted on Gamespot, and that shows through clearly in the gameplay footage.

Environments seen therein include the game's hub cities, a neat dungeon in caverns, a desert dotted with ruins, mythical cities and locations, Soviet research facilities, a stranded cargo ship, and more unusual locales - a world populated by living machines, for example.

No release date has been set for The Secret World. Watch the sensational footage below.
