The Owner of the Legendary Nintendo PlayStation Prototype Wants to Put It Up For Sale

A relic of a console era long past might soon be entering the free market. A prototype console mash-up from Sony and Nintendo, often referred to as the "Nintendo PlayStation," has made the rounds at conventions and expos, and now its owner is thinking about putting it up for purchase.
Shibuya Productions writer and producer Cedric Biscay first publicized the owner Terry Diebold's desire to sell on Twitter, posting a few glamour shots of the hybrid prototype. Biscay says he's "very curious" to know what the final sale price will be for this little piece of hardware history.
Diebold shared the message on his own social feed, providing an email address for any interested party to get in contact. He makes a joking comment about not taking low offers in the replies, but also delves into his reasoning behind selling it:
Diebold has been touring conventions for a while now with his son, showcasing the prototype system. Some have suggested selling or donating it to a museum, though it doesn't look like interest has been expressed yet by any organizations. Hopefully the prototype finds its way to a place where more folks can check it out, and preservationists can make sure this bizarre mash-up of Sony and Nintendo survives the ages.
