The Long Dark from Hinterland lands on Kickstarter

The Long Dark from the first project from Hinterland, a studio comprised of ex-Relic, Bioware, Riot and Volition developers, has landed on Kickstarter as promised.
The episodic first-person sandbox survival experience set in a North America after a disaster has 28 days to go in order to reach its $200,000 goal, and as of post time, 1,051 backers have pledged $29,754.
The Long Dark is slated for PC, Mac, and Linux for an October 2014 release.
