After nearly a full decade of development and anticipation, The Last Guardian is finally expected to launch for PlayStation 4 this October. This also means Sony can finally unveil a limited collector's edition for the game, and if you enjoy extras with your purchases, this should prove to be a good one.

Going from the Amazon listing, The Last Guardian's collector's edition is packaged into a large wooden crate with long-awaited goodies. Outside of a premium steelbook case carrying the Blu-Ray game disc, the box contains a 72-page art book, digital soundtrack, and Last Guardian-themed sticker sheet. But the collector's true joy has to be a large statue of the creature Trico, napping in a nest beside his boy. If you've found The Last Guardian's previous trailers adorable, this statue is certainly an ideal piece of gaming memorabilia.

Which brings us to price - The Last Guardian's collector's edition will set you back $119.99, as opposed to the $59.99 standard game. Whatever version you choose, both editions will be released for PlayStation 4 on October 25, 2016.
