The King of Fighters 15 reveal trailer is light on details, heavy on action

Following a last-minute delay, SNK has officially unveiled The King of Fighters 15.

Before the end of 2020, SNK said that it would show off The King of Fighters 15 for the first time this month. Shortly before the announcement was meant to drop, however, the publisher apologised, saying it has been pushed back.

It turns out, the delay wasn't as big as most of us believed, because SNK has finally showed off the game's first trailer today.

The new game is coming this year, though SNK did not specify any platforms. In a pre-recorded message, The King of Fighters 15 creative director Eisuke Ogura, and producer Yasuyuki Oda said that the game will keep KoF's fast pace, but introduce a few new twists.

Though today's reveal was certainly light on details, SNK promised another, more detailed look at gameplay next week.

Alongside the reveal, SNK also announced the long-rumoured Ultimate Edition of The King of Fighters 14. This version is available now digitally on PS4, and includes the base game, as well as eight DLC characters, ten costumes and ten themes. SNK is working on a re-release of The King of Fighters 2002, too, dubbed Ultimate Match, coming to PS4. This updated version features rollback netcode, which is big news.
