The Game Awards Has Around 10 New Games and Projects to Reveal
It'll run for almost three hours, too.

This year's Game Awards have been surprisingly resilient to leaks, according to the showrunner. Host and producer Geoff Keighley is currently doing an AMA on Reddit about the show, and in response to one question, it sounds like a lot of news is lined up.
When asked how many reveals or announcements we should expect this year, Keighley says he thinks there are "around 10 new games/projects being revealed if you want to count the things that no one has heard about yet." He also takes the opportunity to poke fun at leakers.
"As always the internet has a lot of really bad information out there about what you think is at the show," Keighley writes. "But it sure is fun to read."
In another response, Keighley confirms that the leaked Resident Evil 3 remake will not be at the show. In fact, he goes on to rebuff the notion that any part of the show has leaked as of yet.
"A lot of these 'leaks' are completely wrong," Keighley writes. "Nothing about our show has leaked as of this writing."
Though the existence of Half-Life: Alyx and more info at the Game Awards was circulating a while back, nothing substantial was mentioned, so that holds water (mostly). Of course, this means the door is open for your most outlandish guesses at what could possibly appear. Pikmin Battle Royale? Halo Kart Racing? Another PlayStation All-Stars?
Considering the show is set to be about two-and-a-half hours long according to Keighley, and these awards usually end up having a lot of announcements, there's plenty of space to fill with new games. It's also nearing the end of the console generation, so we might finally start hearing about what the major games of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Project Scarlett launches will be.
