Ten world premieres: all the headlines from The Game Awards 2015
The Game Awards 2015 mosly delivered on its promises. Mostly.
The Game Awards are the successor to the now-defunct Spike VGAs, a sort of end of year gala packed with new reveals, triple-A excess and, with any luck, a general sense of embarrassment all round.
This year's show wasn't too bad. There weren't too many hugely shameful "comedy" moments; there was only one amusing gaffe; everybody enjoyed rolling their eyes at the unnecessary musical interludes; and the Satoru Iwata tribute was genuinely moving.
We would take issue with one of the promised world premieres being a Deadmaus song if not for the fact that Deadmaus himself took great delight in this little bit of deception.
