Horror game The Forest will crash-land a week late
Indie open-world survival-horror game The Forest has had its release date for Steam Early Access pushed back.
Developer Endnight Games originally slated it for release tomorrow, but has decided to delay it by one week: your plane is now scheduled to crash-land in The Forest on May 29 instead.
We got to talk to the developers a few months ago, and loved what we heard. The Forest takes cues from Minecraft, DayZ, Don't Starve and various horror films, and blends them into a terrifying experience that looks set to put the actual "survival" back into "survival horror". How well that works is something we'll find out next week.
Thanks, Eurogamer.
